Schwenksville Borough Council is currently contracted with Whitetail Disposal Inc.
Trash collection day for the entire borough by the approved single hauler is Tuesday.
Residential (Single Family, Twin, duplex and small apartment buildings) Service includes once per week collection of trash and recycling in one each 96-gallon toters for each dwelling unit, a single bulk item per week and yard waste in approved compostable bags.
Bulk Item Disposal must be scheduled no later than noon the day prior to the pickup by calling 610-754-0103 and Selecting Option #2 for Municipal Contracts or by emailing Schwenksville@whitetaildisposal.com. One standard Item per week is included in your service. Additional standard items are billed at $20 per item. Hazardous items such as refrigerators must be tagged for pick up and cost $60.00. Electronics collections can be scheduled for an additional cost of $55.00.
Commercial properties can opt into the Residential Program or purchase dumpster service. Whitetail will accommodate a mix of dumpster for trash and a toter for additional fee above the contracted cost.
All trash should be put inside the Whitetail Toter and recyclables Toter. Please do not use any other container for the trash or recyclables. Should you need a new toter or a larger recycling toter please email Whitetail Disposal at Schwenksville@whitetaildisposal.com and they will supply you with one free of charge.
If toter is full, one extra bag on the side is allowable.

Trash Requirements
– Put trash out the night before pickup.
– Return the toter and recycling bin from sidewalk as soon as possible after pickup. The Toters must be stored in the side or rear yards.
– Store the toters and recycling bin in a discrete location, in an effort to minimize the visual impact for the neighbors.
