Borough Administration

Borough administrative services are provided by two full-time employees, a Borough Manager and the Secretary-Treasurer. 

The Borough Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day business of the Borough.   In addition to being the Chief Appointed Officer of the Borough, the Borough Manager also serves as the Zoning Officer, the Assistant Code-Enforcement Officer and the Public Records Officer.   He is responsible for meeting preparation for Borough Council and policy implementation in accordance with Borough Council directives.  The Borough Manager is responsible for problem solving, managing contracts and bids, grant administration and public communications. 

The Municipal Secretary-Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the records of the Borough, for attesting to action taken by the Borough Council and Borough Manager, for submitting annual reports to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and for processing all applications for permits and services received by the Borough.   As Treasurer, she is responsible for maintaining the accounts of the Borough, preparing the monthly bill lists for payment approval by Council and working with the Auditors to complete the annual Financial Statements for the Borough.
