Borough's Meadow Park

  1. Meadow Park,  located at 300 Main Street, is the primary open space within the Borough. Amenities include a picnic pavilion, a playground with swings, a rain garden and benches, a walking path and a kayak boat launch.  It provides a relaxing spot for people to walk and fish in the Creek.    The Summer Concert Series “Music in the Meadow” takes place at Meadow Park in June, July and August.
  2. Perkiomen Trail Head  – located at the southern entrance to Schwenksville Borough at the Route 73 Bridge, this rest area contains benches, a kiosk and lighting as well as a garden started by the Women’s Civic Club of Schwenksville in 2009.
  3. Main Street Plaza- Constructed in 2018 at 300 Main Street, this plaza will serve as a center for special events and activities is also a nice place to meet up with friends before taking on the Perkiomen Trail.  Parking is available behind and adjacent to the former fire station.
  4. Schwenksville Borough Community Room.   The Borough has renovated the former Fire House at 300 Main Street and has relocated Borough Hall there, as well as opening a Community Function Room that can be rented for special occasions and used for community events and activities in conjunction with the Main Street Plaza.

Hours of Operation
Meadow Park is open from sunrise to sunset.

Schwenksville Meadow Park Pavilion Reservation – The Pavilion and Bathrooms can be reserved at Meadow Park for small fee.

Additional Recreational Areas in the Community
Additional parks with play areas for young children include a park at Plank Road and Foy Park in Lower Frederick Township. The Rotary Club has organized youth baseball and softball events at its facility off of Cemetery Road (Seitz Rd) between Township Line and North Limerick Road (Perkiomen Ave.)
